Camilla Muldrow, Postpartum Doula
Camilla is a Certified Postpartum Doula. Before specializing in postpartum care, she spent three years apprenticing with Metta Lineage as a labor doula. Camilla's first postpartum client was a family welcoming triplets. Since then, Camilla has enjoyed caring for little ones from families of all sizes. She loves facilitating the transition into caring for a new life by buttressing parents' inborn wisdom and ability with helpful tricks of the trade, picked up over nearly two decades of experience.
Camilla was so eager to be born that she made her earthside entrance in the hallway of a municipal hospital in Waco, Texas. She was adopted at age four with her biological older brother into a loving (and overwhelmed) family of four. The transition for her parents proved to be a wonderful life lesson in time management—a skill and talent they instilled in Camilla. Growing up in a household with many moving parts, Camilla has witnessed the importance of community support. Her love for parenting, caregiving, and all things baby deepens with each expanding family she encounters.
Camilla studied sociology at Reed College. In her free time, she volunteers on the board of the Moreland Farmers Market, as an escort at Lovejoy Surgicenter, and as a unit volunteer at Legacy Emanuel’s NICU. Her passions beyond babies include traveling the world, sewing, and homesteading.
