Stories and Resources for Prematurity Awareness Month

Each year, an estimated 15 million babies around the world are born premature. More than one million of them do not survive their early birth. Although the United States has seen sustained improvement in its preterm birth rate, it has one of the highest rates of preterm birth of any industrialized country.(1)

At Bridgetown Baby, we love supporting the families of preemies through the tender and tenuous territory they must tread. This month - Prematurity Awareness Month - we are highlighting the stories of preemie parents. We stand with these families, with awe and respect for their tenacity, strength and resilience.
