Camilla Rae

Lead Doula, CLC | she/they

“Camilla has such a sweet energy. She is so supportive in a million ways & incredibly knowledgeable.”

—Katharine Q., first time mother

Camilla has always held knowledge and education as a core value, but she knew her chosen career would also include an element of caregiving. Adopted at age four into a loving and (and overwhelmed) family of four children, Camilla grew up in a household with many moving parts. There she witnessed the importance of community support and quickly stood out as a nurturer. It was no surprise to Camilla’s family and friends that she blossomed with her first postpartum doula client, a family welcoming triplets.

Camilla enjoys supporting families of all shapes and sizes, during all phases of the perinatal year. She is enthusiastic about helping parents manage the challenges of caring for a new baby, and loves being able to buttress their inborn wisdom and ability with helpful tricks of the trade picked up over nearly two decades of experience and education. Camilla is a compassionate, organized, person who is comfortable holding space if parents need a sounding board or reassurance. Her love for parenting, caregiving, and all-things-baby deepens with each expanding family she encounters.

Camilla is an experienced traveler, speaks Spanish, and has visited more than 39 countries. Her greatest adventure began in February of 2018, when she welcomed her first son, Maverick. His presence has been a welcome reminder to slow down and rediscover wonder. She enjoys sewing, learning, and spending time with her family.
