Grieving the passing of any treasured family member is heavy work.
Held in Love: Support for Grieving Families offers doula care to support the emotional and day-to-day needs as a family grieves. Over the course of our time together, Bridgetown Baby doulas - trained in bereavement support - will provide an embrace of listening, loving, holding space, and providing nourishment to help families on their healing journey.
This support is a beautiful gift for friends and family members to purchase for their loved ones. Sliding scale pricing available upon request; fees paid support Bridgetown Baby’s ability to continue to offer this service. Travel fee may apply.
Components
Three 3-hour daytime visits to provide emotional support, make meals, provide other household support, and care for older siblings, if applicable
Support making connections with photographers specializing in loss photography, as desired
Support with identifying an honorarium (breastmilk jewelry, other keepsakes), as desired
Connections with allied support professionals and other resources
We all have to navigate our own journeys of grief and loss, but we don’t have to do it alone. Please reach out to us if we can walk alongside you.
