Nest and Poetry Night at Blackbird Studio

Spend an evening with Debbie Baxter and The NEST Project at BLACKBIRD STUDIO learning the art/life connection through poetry writing and small nest building. You will leave with a handwritten poem and handmade nest. This event is perfect for Moms and Moms to be as a way to reflect on what it means to nurture and to be nurtured.

Debbie Baxter is a fine art photographer, sculptor, and somatic artist. What began in 2016 with a self-portrait inside the first nest she built alongside her son, Zavier, has grown into a global movement dedicated to offering a sanctuary to feel held, honest, and whole. Her work extends through multimedia installations and online and in person programming.
