Standing Up Against Racist Aggression: Free Training

bystander_intervention_training.png

Last month's killings in Georgia brought new awareness to the rise of anti-Asian/Asian-American harassment in our country. While hate crimes decreased by 7% overall in 2020, hate crimes against Asians/Asian Americans rose by 150% in 16 major US cities during that same period.

It goes without saying that this is unacceptable. Racist harassment is antithetical to Bridgetown Baby's mission to help families grow with strength and confidence, build life-long connections and create a more just community.

Last month, several of our team members attended this excellent free training on safe ways to interrupt Anti-Asian/American and xenophobic harassment - it was quick, engaging, and thought-provoking. We invite you to join us in getting equipped us with new tools to support justice in your community.
