Winter Essentials Drive: Thanks for your Support!

Huge thanks to everyone who made our Winter Essentials Drive a success!

With your help we collected three overflowing bins of diapers, menstrual pads, and toilet paper to help our immigrant neighbors. All this love in numbers looks like…

Diapers: Size 1: 272, Size 2: 153, Size 3: 233, Size 4: 1,072, Size 5: 331, Size 6: 529, Size 3T-4T pull ups: 116.
Total diapers: 2,706!!!

Wipes: 16 packs

Pads: 1,414 pads

Toilet Paper: 11 rolls

This amount of diapers and pads collection will help support ~90 families!

These days are steeped with fear and uncertainty for many, which makes going to the store and to work a risky, stressful undertaking. Mutual aid is one way we can come together to care for our community. We’re grateful to the Bridgetown Baby community (that’s you!) and to Sellwood Community House for their partnership in supporting families served by Immigrant Mutual Aid Coalition!

Stay tuned for additional ways to help families feel resourced, supported, and safer through this year’s Mamas Day Campaign - coming up in May.
