Reba Lugo-Sena

Certified Postpartum Doula | she/her

“Reba brings warmth and love into every interaction.”

— A.N., parent of 1

Born and raised in Alaska, Reba is one of 14 children and an identical twin. With 9 sisters and over 40 nieces and nephews, Reba’s early introduction to the birth/postpartum world was a natural entrée into a professional path in healthcare and women’s health.

After beginning her doula journey in Portland, and building additional skills through diverse trainings, Reba returned to her hometown in Alaska and worked as the lead doula/coordinator in an agency serving vulnerable communities. The program’s focus on extended support to clients through their babies’ first birthdays allowed Reba to build a deep understanding and appreciation for mothers and families from many backgrounds and stages of the postpartum experience.

In her current work, Reba loves working with families with multiples, queer families, culturally diverse communities, and animals - especially dogs! She loves spending time with her spouse and her beloved fur baby, Charlie. As a proud professional auntie with a deep sense of family, Reba prides herself on offering compassion, empathy, and empowerment when serving postpartum families. She’s committed to providing reliable and evidence-based care and resources to help create a safe space where clients feel confidence and autonomy to best care for their families long past the postpartum period.
