Mother's Day Stories

Hello friends, we are hosting a temporary blog in honor of Mother's Day. In our work as postpartum doulas we have encountered incredible experiences of love, hilarity, heartrending loss and bravery in the face of unforeseen circumstances. Some of our clients have kindly agreed to share their stories in the week leading up to Mother's Day. We hope you will enjoy reading these very personal stories, just as we hope to honor a few aspects of childbirth and parenting that aren't as visible as they should be. Parenting is nothing if not transformative. To each of you this week, wherever you are in your journey, however hard or happy this holiday, we honor and celebrate your heart, your strength, your great love.

With admiration and love,
Merriah, Rose, and Emily
